The traders often accept trade-ins once you have made it clear that you don’t have any more money on you and in case you get invited to stay with a family, it is much more appropriate to offer them some small giveaway than money. Brightly colored sports shoes are valued highly, even if used. Digital cameras or cell phones without a contract are of interest to them as well. - remember: an invitation for tea is an invitation to a shop and once there, you practically have to buy something or leave, which is very rude. |
